Our relationships in Sri Lanka date to our first forays “up-country” in the 1970s. We focus primarily on seasonal high grown Uva, Dimbula and Nuwara Eliya black teas, while purchasing limited quantities of green and white teas when quality is exceptional.

All varieties of tea come from the same plant
It's true, all black, green, oolong, white, and pu-erh is made from Camellia Sinensis. It's how the tea leaves are processed that makes a green a "green", and a pu-erh a "pu-erh".
For example, black teas are left to oxidize (dry slowly in the air), greens are steamed or pan-fried and pu-erh is fermented.
